As an undergraduate, I majored in Graphic Design and minored in Communication and Fine Arts at Drury University. With over eight years of experience as a graphic designer, I have gained extensive knowledge in my field and am committed to continuous learning and growth each day.

I effectively balance my professional commitments with personal interests, including reading, playing Pokémon Go, watching films, and gaming with friends. In 2018, I had the privilege of attending the Adobe Max conference in Los Angeles, where I connected with inspiring artists, acquired new skills, and earned my Illustrator certification.

My creative philosophy centers on crafting art that resonates with its audience. I strive for my designs—whether through visuals or text—to communicate effectively. Adopting a minimalist approach, I believe that simplicity can convey powerful messages, allowing the essence of the design to shine through. I typically produce multiple iterations of each concept, refining the one that feels most engaging and conversational.

One of my greatest passions is book design. As an avid reader, I find joy in creating book covers that captivate readers. Throughout my career, I have refined my design skills through various projects, including freelance work for independent authors and collaborations with publishing houses. This experience has provided me with a deep understanding of how a compelling book cover can attract readers and encapsulate the story’s essence. I am proficient in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, and I consistently stay informed about design trends to keep my work relevant and innovative.

As a graduate student, I pursued a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication at Drury University, which allowed me to explore the strategic side of marketing and design. While my primary focus is design, I am also passionate about developing effective marketing strategies to help businesses thrive. I have worked on three integrated marketing plans—two targeting business-to-consumer audiences and one for business-to-business initiatives. These experiences have deepened my knowledge of marketing techniques and helped me identify the right strategies to meet client needs.

I am currently seeking new opportunities to further enhance my design skills and am eager to embrace new challenges and learning experiences.
